Mounting of Baseplate on the War Eagle accessory rail system. This mounting allows the user to position a Bowducer transducer mount in the most advantageous position.  Mounting near the user at the side of the boat allows for more convenient and handy adjustment of transducer direction
The accessory rails come in several different angles. These angles are measured from the horizontal. So a 90 degree angle is vertical while a 45 degree angle evenly splits vertical and horizontal. Refer to the photo for determining if you have a 45 or 55 degree mounting rail.
Typically these accessory rail systems are within 4 inches of the outer edge of the boat. As such, they work best with our 8.25 inch baseplates.
